My journey as an artist began at my mother’s side, studying light, form, and composition through drawing and painting. Over time, this foundation expanded into photography, where I explore the sculptural beauty of the human figure and nature—subjects that embody both strength and sensitivity. Herb Ritts once said, “I abstract it in my photographs: I like large planes and spaces, areas of texture and light.” I am drawn to how light sculpts and defines, creating compositions where negative space holds as much weight as the subject itself.
Design, to me, is about problem-solving with elegance. Inspired by my father’s relentless curiosity, I approach lighting and furniture design as a balance between form, function, and emotion. My work interprets modern and vintage influences to create pieces that feel timeless yet forward-thinking. From sculptural lighting to furniture that invites both beauty and utility, my designs are shaped by a deep respect for materials, craftsmanship, and the way people interact with objects in their daily lives.
